About Colleen
Colleen Murray Peyton is an Actress, Creative Producer, Facilitator and the Founder of Overjoy Creative. She has designed and delivered interactive experiences for hundreds of companies around the world, helping individuals and organizations communicate messaging and boost team collaboration.
With decades of comedy experience, Colleen has performed with The Second City, IO Chicago, The Annoyance Theater and selected to play at the HBO Comedy Festival. Colleen also works in TV and film and is often happily recognized as “that lady from the bank commercial.”
Colleen also has an extensive business background working with for-profit and non-profit organizations. She began her career in commercial real estate in Chicago, as a Leasing Agent with Equity Office Properties for 7 years. After that, she consulted for 12 years as a Senior Learning Designer & Lead Facilitator for the corporate services division of Second City Works. Currently, Colleen serves as a Board member of the Pasadena Literary Alliance, a non-profit organization with a mission to celebrate authors, inspire readers and support literary programs.

Colleen brings a unique equation of who she is to the work she does. Both sides of her brain move lightning fast to synthesize business needs into creative solutions that engage and energize audiences. She quickly makes people feel at ease with her warmth and laughter, and she is highly skilled in creating a psychologically safe space for people to learn.
Side note: Colleen has a freakishly good memory. Her friends call her the Computer because she never forgets someone’s name, even years after meeting them. She navigates the unknown like a raven. And delights in solving problems with the deft and fashion sense of Jessica Fletcher.
